The Descent is my rebellion against the expected. Reserved exclusively for my commission clients, this is the moment the formality of your day gives way to the raw energy of the evening. We are moving the cake from a display stand to a curated studio station.

Once the commission is cut and boxed by my own hand to ensure the integrity of the design, I remain on-site to guide your guests through the apothecary. With a library of 45 flavours as the foundation, I provide a bespoke selection of sensory elements designed to heighten the experience:

The Curation

Every performance is built around the specific soul of your commission. This is not a generic setup. It is a bespoke extension of your design. Once your cake flavours are selected, I begin the process of layering the sensory narrative.

Olfactory Mapping

I select a scent profile for the atomiser that either complements or creates a deliberate contrast with the interior of your cake. Whether it is the deep earthiness of a botanical reduction or the sharp brightness of a citrus mist, the scent is chosen to heighten the first bite.

Fluid Composition

The house-made fluids are reduced in my studio specifically for your event. I look at the flavour notes of your chosen sponge and create a reduction that adds a new dimension to the palette.

Curated Contrast

The textural elements are the final signature. I provide a selection of crunches and shards that ensure the transition from the soft sculptural cake to the edible experience is seamless and satisfying.
